Bio

Anthony Bondi’s childhood in Las Vegas is central to his work. He uses digital imaging to make art about the place and the environment surrounding it, showing such work in a variety of settings. For twenty years he presented large scale interactive art at Burning Man, often focused on tactile immersion. In 2014 he was a featured correspondent on Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, Las Vegas. He is the author of Flamingo Wash, a fictionalized memoir about Las Vegas from the days of atom bomb tests to the near present.

In the 1980’s on a Euro-tour I collected postcards with inadvertent printing errors. After holding this card for a few years, I recognized that there was no error in it. It was a carefully composed collage of many images superimposed on a final single negative for printing. An anonymous lab technician passed his work to the world with little idea if anyone would recognize it.
